HEAT PIPE HEAT RECOVERY SELECTION AND RATING

SPC HPD shows you how to size heat pipes for use in enhanced dehumidification applications.

The selection routine leads you through a series of informative and straightforward options for rapid and accurate sizing.

The software also includes a facility for plotting process paths on a computer-generated psychrometric chart. It's a simple and graphic demonstration of the benefits that heat pipes bring to the dehumidification process.

The software allows you to select 'wrap-around' heat pipes that fit around conventional cooling coils or, for greater convenience, a combination heat-pipe cooling-coil assembly and comes complete with a 'General Arrangement' module that provides drawings of the selected heat pipe.

Combination units slide into AHUs or mate with ductwork in an identical manner to conventional cooling coils.
