TRENCH & FLOOR HEATING
Trench heating & floor convectors have experienced increasing popularity during the last few years. They are not used to form systems covering the whole floor area. On the contrary, standard stainless steel troughs including heat exchangers (and fans, as required) are purposefully built in the floor at the exposed locations.
These locations are usually large glazed areas in showrooms, schools, offices, swimming pools etc. In addition to the principal of their work, which is heating, floor convectors serve also as heat screens at cold windows to increase thermal comfort in interiors.
Natural and fan-powered units are available in made to measure shapes, while special versions are also available for wet environments such as swimming pools. Room design and décor can be complimented with a range of grille finishes.
